[ARCHIVE] MOGNET TV❢ ✰ state of the world, august '14
[The feed opens to discord. Mogoro's news desk is in disarray, the Mognet TV banner has fallen off it and the moogle drawing of a dragon has suffered some quite malicious graffiti of three mooglings riding on its back and a treasure hoard of gil below it. There's several stacks of boxes, all labelled as "MOGNET TV", and some of them are upturned and some of them have been opened and their contents missing. It looks quite a state, really.
Out walks a very stressed Mogoro from behind the camera, who has large panda moogle eyes, but he still manages to sound enthusiastic.]
Good day to you, kupo... it's time for another installment of-
[Whatever he's about to say is cut off as three mooglings dash past the camera. Actually, they look an awful lot like Mogni, Stilka, and Sono, straight to one of the aforementioned boxes. Mogoro does his best to ignore them, resorting to speaking louder to combat the noise.]
-Mognet TV, kupo! As you can see, we have um, a slight problem with absences, kupo, but to not to worry! Though we're understaffed today, kupo, I shall do my very best to tell you all the Haven news- kupo!! Not the merchandise, kupo!!
[It seems that's the contents of the box(es), as the mooglings run back across the camera with several Mognet TV logo mugs and t-shirts of all shapes of sizes, and one of those t-shirts has a brand new life as a flag, as all three mooglings chime in unison, "for Mogtopia, kupo!", leaving the scene of the daylight robbery.
Mogoro lets out a heavy sigh.

Havens Today With Mogoro
• The Farron sisters opened up a new restaurant in the Phon Coast, kupo! We all had a lot of fun on the beach for the grand opening. I even got a bit of a moogle tan, kupo! Our favorite part was definitely the ice cream! Who knew behemoth steak ice cream tasted so good, kupo?!
• It wasn't all fun and games though, kupo... a barrier was up around the Coast, and lots of people came and went, thanks to the dragons. But even after they all disappeared, the barrier was still in place, kupo! And then, kupo... then... that's when the water dragon came, kupo. He took a lot of people with him... we didn't know if they had survived.
• It wasn't until two weeks later that there was any sign of the water dragon, kupo. He was found at the island to the south, kupo, and everyone went to put a stop to him, since Eluned asked us. But, to our surprise, he was healed, kupo! Those he had taken fixed him up, and helped him through a curse. We're not sure who cast the curse either kupo, but Einar is a protector of the seas, kupo, so things should be a lot calmer now. He's also Eluned's mate, too, kupo?! What a surprise!
• People started getting smaller! There's lots of children around who have been here a long time, kupo, but they don't remember a thing! This isn't the first time this has happened, kupo, but the usual suspects, the faeries, don't seem to be behind it, and it doesn't seem to be going away any time soon, kupo. It's really... hard work, kupo... Kupopo, I'm not cut out for this!!
• It's a little ways away, but it's almost time for the volcanic incantation to be performed again in Kamui, kupo! Little Lika has invited us to watch, kupo. B-But you should be careful out there! The volcano will erupt around the end of this month, so be careful if you're on the western continent!

Havens Today With Mogoro
