Q. What is Mognet TV?
Mognet TV is just like our mail system, kupo! Once a month, we'll make a broadcast and send it directly to your rune. We'll do our very best to make each one interesting, kupo!

Q. What exactly is going to be in each broadcast?
Stuff about the Havens, kupo! We'll keep you up to date with what's happening in each place and the Havens themselves. Wanna know the best place to go in early spring, kupo? What's hip and happening? What's the latest place to be rescued? What are the dragons up to? No problem, kupo! Mognet is here to help. We include facts as well as rumours*!

Q. How will I know when I have a Mognet TV broadcast sent to my rune?
You'll know when there's a broadcast by a flashing moogle symbol in the corner of your rune, kupo! H-How did they get there? We modified your runes whilst you were all sleeping, kupo! The symbol will stop flashing when you bring up the broadcast. We wanted it to start automatically, but our sponsors threatened to pull out if we did, kupo...

Q. Where is Mognet Central?
That's a secret, kupo!

Q. Who works at Mognet?
Mogoro is the main broadcaster! I'm answering all these right now, kupo! I tell you all about what's happening and what people have found in the past month, in nice, moogle sized chunks, kupo! I wear green, kupo.
Mogni handles rumours. She wears blue, kupo!
Stilka is in charge of advertisements! Submit any adverts you'd like us to run to her, kupo, and she'll read them out! She wears a black business suit, kupo.
Sono conducts interviews! He's a little shy, kupo, so be nice to him! He wears red.
Mogana is our technician, kupo! She wears pink.

(In summary, Mognet TV is an IC edition of "State of the World". State of the World covers all major incidents that have happened in the past month, as well any other important developments. Local celebrations that are upcoming will also be mentioned. Rumours are that - rumours - relating to the world at large. Sometimes these are indicative of side-plots, and less frequently major plots, so keep them in mind! These are designed to give you a direction, if you'd like to look into them. Advertisements are that, in which the moogles will read out adverts for character businesses or events and so on.

Why IC? Because a dose of cute moogleness (plus special guests) is why! It's also a fun twist.)

[The feed opens to discord. Mogoro's news desk is in disarray, the Mognet TV banner has fallen off it and the moogle drawing of a dragon has suffered some quite malicious graffiti of three mooglings riding on its back and a treasure hoard of gil below it. There's several stacks of boxes, all labelled as "MOGNET TV", and some of them are upturned and some of them have been opened and their contents missing. It looks quite a state, really.

Out walks a very stressed Mogoro from behind the camera, who has large panda moogle eyes, but he still manages to sound enthusiastic.]

Good day to you, kupo... it's time for another installment of-

[Whatever he's about to say is cut off as three mooglings dash past the camera. Actually, they look an awful lot like Mogni, Stilka, and Sono, straight to one of the aforementioned boxes. Mogoro does his best to ignore them, resorting to speaking louder to combat the noise.]

-Mognet TV, kupo! As you can see, we have um, a slight problem with absences, kupo, but to not to worry! Though we're understaffed today, kupo, I shall do my very best to tell you all the Haven news- kupo!! Not the merchandise, kupo!!

[It seems that's the contents of the box(es), as the mooglings run back across the camera with several Mognet TV logo mugs and t-shirts of all shapes of sizes, and one of those t-shirts has a brand new life as a flag, as all three mooglings chime in unison, "for Mogtopia, kupo!", leaving the scene of the daylight robbery.

Mogoro lets out a heavy sigh.

He doesn't pay himself enough for this.]

[Since last time, it seems Mogoro has invested in a news desk, the Mognet TV logo pinned to a banner on the front of it. Behind him, there's a black wall with a picture of a dragon. Well, it looks like a dragon. It has wings, and there's fire, so maybe it's a moogle's depiction of a dragon...

Anyway, Mogoro clears his throat and spins on his chair to face the audience, picking up a pile of papers (there's no writing on them), shuffling them in his hands.]

Good morning, kupo! It's time for another installment of Mognet TV! Today we're going to-

[Whatever Mogoro is about to say ends abruptly as the camera pans dramatically downwards, and Mogoro lets out a little squeak.]

Sono! You're supposed to hold it straight, kupo!!

Breaking News!
Wait, kupo! Don't go yet! [It's Mogoro! He dashes onto the screen just before the ending titles roll.]

We just had some breaking news, kupo! Eluned left us an important message! [He pulls out his own rune, taps a few buttons, and Eluned's voice comes loud and clear.]

Denizens of the Havens, I have some news for you all. The Mognet TV broadcast is something you all use, so I will make a point to use it.

You may remember the large waystones out in the Havens. Some of them have been used before to write and send messages when you have misplaced your own runes. But, there is also another feature to them - teleportation.

We are aware you do not travel as fast as we do, and that it would be useful to cover greater distances. So, we have experimented. This method of teleportation was not possible, for a time, when the world was reformed. Now, it is safe for you to use the waystones in such a way. These routes need to be opened before they can be used. They must be connected by those who possess runes. There are also repercussions to using this method. But you can find more details of that at the waystones themselves.

[Sometime today whilst looking at your rune, you may notice something... different. There's a symbol flashing in the corner. It looks kind of like a moogle's silhouette - or their head and pompom, anyway - now that you're looking at it...

Whenever and for whatever reason you do, when you push that symbol, you'r greeted with a video feed of five moogles, sat in what looks to be an office, or television studio, of some description. The one wearing green clears his throat.]

Hello everybody, kupo! My name is Mogoro. I'm the head moogle over here at Mognet TV! These are my co-workers, kupo. Mogni, our journalist, [the moogle wearing a blue bow curtsies,] Mogana, our technician, [the moogle wearing a startlingly bright pair of pink glasses and a flower in her hair salutes,] Stilka, our advertisement specialist, [the moogle wearing a black business suit with black sunglasses (chillingly) nods,] and Sono, our interviewer! [the moogle in red sort of... shakes a little, and then he mumbles a kupo.]

Our mission statement here at Mognet is to bring you monthly news of the goings on in the Havens, kupo! As today is our first broadcast, it'll be a little shorter than normal, kupo, so we can give you this little introduction to who we are. I'm sure most of you know what happened this month anyway!
